The Human Spirit, Salt Lake 2002 Slideshow

Jamie Schapiro was hired by the Salt Lake Organizing Committee (SLOC)
to shoot the human elements of the 2002 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. His images have been published within two different books for the International Olympic and Paralympic Committees.

On April 24, 2002, Jamie presented his work in front of 1,000 people at the Giant Of Our City event in Salt Lake City. The purpose of this event was to honor Mitt Romney, CEO and President of SLOC. The following slideshow was displayed during this event:  View Show

A Dose of Kiwi, New Zealand 2002 Slideshow

Jamie spent two months in the North and South Islands of New Zealand. In viewing his images, it is clear that New Zealand is one of the most remarkable places to visit. His photographs encompass a true sense of adventure and beauty.

Last year, Jamie worked with a San Francisco high school to educate young students about New Zealand. These students created a colorful, crayon book of Jamie's photographs. The following slideshow was presented to these children:  View Show
